Your doctor counts on our professional staff to help you heal at home and to cut down on possible expensive trips to the emergency room. We’re the doctor’s eyes, ears and hands, 24 hours a day – and we can handle any weather the U.P throws our way, every day, anywhere our wheels will take us.
Skilled Home Healthcare is a range of services, ordered by your doctor and provided in your home. It’s seamless care: a transition from a physician's office or hospital to home, from illness to health, from troubled times to peace.
- Nursing care to educate and assist an individual with a new diagnosis or to monitor a long-term illness such as diabetes, cancer, or heart and lung diseases
- Rehabilitation after surgery, stroke, or injury
- Support for every-day tasks like shopping or bathing
- Medical Social Workers to help coordinate everything from obtaining a sturdy walker or referral to the appropriate community organization to help sort out a disability benefit
Hospice Philosophical Care
Hospice is a Team of Healthcare Professionals and dedicated/trained Volunteers who can provide medical, emotional and spiritual care to individuals with life-limiting diagnoses, and to their family, friends, and caregivers. U.P. Private Duty Services works in partnership with U.P. Home Health & Hospice Hospice to meet all of your Home Healthcare needs. We are the only agency in Marquette County that provides this unique continuum of care within a home setting.
