Private Duty Services

We Are Your Doctor’s Eyes, Ears, and Hands When You Are At Home

We are, and have been since 1973, the community’s only locally owned and operated comprehensive provider of Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty services. This gives you unique access to a broad spectrum of home health and wellness services that allow seamless transitions between these services in your own home, assisted living facility, or nursing home.

We are the doctor’s eyes, ears and hands, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our angels can handle any weather the U.P throws our way, every day, anywhere our wheels will take us.

If you are returning home from the hospital or seeking an alternative to nursing home or assisted living placement, U.P. Private Duty Services can assist in maintaining your level of independence. There are many reasons to remain in your own home for as long as possible… U.P. Private Duty Services can help meet the varied needs of all age groups.

U.P. Private Duty Services works in partnership with U.P. Home Health & Hospice to meet your home healthcare needs. We are the only agency in Marquette County that provides this unique continuum of care within a home setting. This affords the client and their family the convenience of accessing different levels of care without being discharged from one agency to another to receive needed services.

How to Arrange Service

U.P. Private Duty Services are easy to arrange. Whether you are in the hospital, the doctor’s office, or your very own living room, one telephone call is all it takes. And anyone can make a referral: you, community agencies, family doctor, clergy, relative, or a friend. We are all weather, all terrain, and we are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week- whenever you need us.

Call U.P. Private Duty Services or stop by one of our conveniently located offices in Marquette & Ishpeming. While working with you and your family, a plan of treatment will be formatted to suit your needs and provide careful instruction to the Private Duty Aides who will implement your plan of care.
